refresh, create, relax
Kristi's Northwood's Quilt Camp is all about slowing down, taking a break from your busy life, and treating yourself to a long weekend of what ever you want to do. Quilting, reading, napping, knitting.................the itinerary is yours to make.
Be prepared to set up your creative work area in a lovely banquet room with large windows that overlook Lake St. Croix. You'll have the luxury of leaving your area set up for the duration of your camp experience. Every time of year holds it's special treasures for the senses. Walking shoes and seasonal clothing should be on your list of things to bring.
Just a short walk up the hill from The St. Croix Inn is Lucius Woods Park. The newly landscaped entrance to the park features a delightful foot path that is easy for most walkers. A lovely little quilt/gift/treasure shop is just past the entrance to the park right next to the historic old Village Hall.
Check in time for your room at the St Croix Inn is 3 PM however; you may set up your work area any time after 12:00 PM in the banquet room downstairs.
I will be serving a meal Thursday evening, Brunch and Dinner Friday and Saturday, and Sunday Brunch. The same goes for Sunday - Wednesday camps. Dinner Sunday evening and Brunch and Dinner Monday-Tuesday, and Brunch Wednesday morning. Check out time on Sunday or Wednesday is 11 AM. I'd like to suggest checking out before brunch on your last day to allow yourself time to enjoy each other and your meal. We usually have "Show & Tell" Saturday or Tuesday after dinner. It gives us an opportunity to admire what we've all been working on, share ideas, and enjoy each others creative spirits.
